I can remember the excitement of going to my first circus, I was probably a little older than most, about 8, but it was still an electric experience. Riding the camel was one of the highlights of the show and a line of children grew. Seemed like it was a great idea until I got up to the animal and I realized how large they were and how bad they smelled. Needless to say my mother was not all to thrilled with me after waiting so long in line, so up I went. After that all I can remember is that I survived the experience but would never say I wanted to ride another animal again!
