ReplyDeleteIs anyone else having problems with HootSuite? It acts as if it is going to send or schedule but when the little wheel stops spinning the tweet is still visible in the box and nothing posts either way.
I used Twuffer so I could only tweet from my BITA account today :(

ReplyDeleteHad not trouble with Hootsuite last night or this morning - in fact worked faster than it sometimes does. I have learned that when I am doing Hootsuite scheduling for a bunch of things that it is better to have no other online tabs open in my Chrome browser. (I have the tweets to do copied to a Notepad file on my conputer to keep track of what I have tweeted, LOL) Hootsuite works all the time when you have it open - and I think activity on other browser tabs may interfere with it (not sure).

ReplyDeleteRuth, think having tabs open slows down some computers, not Hootsuite. I almost always have 5-6 open tabs when scheduling the Twitter Tree and (usually) have no problems with Hootsuite. I use Chrome, too.

I think the slowing with multiple tabs is related to ram memory on the specific computer but the hootsuite issues yesterday may have been related to a server. That would explain the spotty interruptions in different states.
Just glad I am not the one dealing with the application
