Natural Craft - Corn Husk

I have always loved the way that things made from corn husk look.  They have a warm earthy appeal and remind me of autumn.  Corn husk is not the easiest to work with, there are several steps to preparing your own and they take a long time to absorb color.  But I have made corn husk wreaths and roses using hand picked and hand dyed husks. 

While I used corn husks that I dyed myself there are several products out there that are already done for you.  At the time I needed it there were none and I was on a pretty tight budget. Marth Stewart (who is probably where I originally learned how to do it) has a video available for you to follow if you should want to embark on this adventure.  Here is the link:
