Welcome to our second vintage store where we will carry various vintage paper ephemera including vintage postcards, vintage books and vintage advertising among other things. We decided to open a second store - our first store is HeritageGeneralStore http://www.etsy.com/shop/heritagegeneralstore, so we could better organize the postcards and make an easier shopping experience for you.
I never set out to become a postcard collector - I sort of stumbled upon it. We were helping my sister and brother-in-law with his parents' estate when we came upon many books of postcards. I was instantly hooked. My personal favorites are large letter cards, state maps and international cards and so you will probably see many of those types showing up in the store.
I now have literally thousands of postcards - most somewhat organized - so if you are looking for something specific, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will see if I have it.
HeritageGeneralStore and HeritagePostcards are family run businesses. We have 12 children - 11 still at home - and some of my daughters are also involved in listing and selling items. "I have fallen in love with postcards!! They are a more recent interest with me, but since 2009, I have managed to collect approximately 10,000 cards! I especially love large letter postcards and state map postcards so you will see many of them here. We have 2 different memberships: one is a general membership, for those who love postcards and collecting postcards and the other is designed for shops with at least 25% of their
items listed are postcards.
The only difference in the memberships is that the latter will be included in shop
interviews, BNRs and postcard related activities. We also plan on having activities for
the general memberships. Hope to see you there soon.
