New Members Of The Pacific Postcards Team - Series 31

A quick team update:  I had planned on creating a newsletter that would start on July 1, 2013, unfortunately due to a series of events that has had to be delayed until sometime in Septmber.  The good news is that it will give people who would like to advertise their shops, post announcements or be featured a chance to email me with their information. Any question please email me those also.

I would like to wish everyone a very Blessed and Safe July 4th.

A heartfelt welcome to our newest members to the Pacific Postcards Team.  Thank you for joining our fun little group.

"Welcome and thank you for taking a few moments to visit. Nothing captures a moment in time better than an old photograph, providing a brief glimpse of a life once lived but not forgotten. I hope you enjoy your journey through my shop and maybe find something along the way. Old photographs are my passion but not my limitation. So as you journey down memory lane, be sure to look for other fine antiques and/or collectibles along the way. You never know what you might find until you look and your time spent here is very much appreciated."~Bertsmouse

Del Hornbuckle
"I am a librarian and bibliophile and lover of beautiful and colorful art work from old books. I created this shop to re-purpose the beautiful paintings, sketches and illustrations from discarded, damaged and de-accessioned books. This shop celebrates the creative spirit from old titles and lets the art work live on for another generation.

The images are available in print and digital format

Enjoy!"  ~Del Hornbuckle
A bit of the old and the new!
Mary Cornish
"My husband and I recently decided to turn our love of a good vintage find into an Etsy shop. We hope you find something here that you'll love. I also sell some crafts I work on, in the shop as well. Sometimes the old and the new work great together!

Thanks for looking at my shop. "  ~Mary Cornish
My Very Own Museum Shop
Ellen Johnson
"I began making collages as a sort of art therapy years ago during treatment for breast cancer. I am now cancer-free, but I still love to make the art. I can lose myself in it for hours. It combines my love of modern art and inspiration from museums with my past work as a painter and quilter. My weird sense of humor and knowledge of world religions often shows in the art. Learning to see beauty in so many ways brings joy to my life." ~Ellen Johnson

Pacific Postcards Team
If you are interested on becoming a member of the Pacific Postcards Team please go to this link and click "Apply."

We have 2 different memberships: one is a general membership, for those who love postcards and collecting postcards and the other is designed for shops with at least 25% of their
items listed are postcards.
We have expanded our Pacific Postcards Team past the confines of Etsy. You can now join in the fun even if you don't have an Etys account by joining the Pacific Postcards Team on G+ . Another great way to share our passion for postcards. I have not built a button for this yet so here is the link to our new community. If you know anyone that is in love with postcards and ephemera please pass this link onto them. Go to

The only difference in the memberships is that the latter will be included in shop
interviews, BNRs and postcard related activities. We also plan on having activities for
the general memberships. Hope to see you there soon.
Please remember that we have our very own Postcard Forum for any questions about specific postcards, collecting, creating, basically anything and everything about postcards. Finally found a rare card for your collection? Use the forum to show off that new found treasure.
