New Members Of The Pacific Postcards Team - Series 36

Good morning,  Is it just me or does it seem that once again time has taken a giant leap forward?  Two seconds ago I was thinking about family vacations, summer, etc and now everywhere I look it is back to school. Crazy how time has been flying.

With that being said we will be fast approaching the holiday shopping season and I am definitely open to a few suggestions as to what we can do to draw some attention to our shops.  Things we have done in the past are:
Individual Giveaways
Group Giveaways
Team BNS (currently running one at: )
Team BNR
Treasury Challenges
If you think you would interested in starting any of the above (or joining in on the BNS)  or if you have a fresh new idea please comment below or send me an email I would love to have some suggestions.

Also, I am looking for someone that has a creative mind, great marketing skills and a little time to spare to help me captain this wonderful team.  If you are up to the challenge please send me an email.  It will take a little time each day so please make sure you will be able to commit to it.  I know how hard it is between work, family and Etsy, so thank you in advance.

One last thing before we move onto our introductions: One of our lovely new members from JensDesk  created a very cute treasury for our team.  I posted it after the introductions so please check it out and Thank you Jen!

Now, I am very happy to introduce and welcome our new members to the Pacific Postcards Team:

Great Vintage and Handmade Items with a Southern Flair
"What can I say? I love scouting local estate sales for cool vintage finds. From vintage Fire King and Club Aluminum to fishing lures and old tools, I never know what is going to call to me.

I'm no expert, just a girl who hopes you love the things I find that make me smile. Let me know if there is something you are looking for and I'll keep my eyes open for it!

I believe in recycle, reuse, repurpose. To that end I package and mail with used packing and boxes whenever possible. " ~Terri

The Vintage
"Hi ♥ and thank you for visiting! My name is Miki and I am half Japanese and Spanish. I am an animal lover and I love Flamenco. I currently live in Madrid.

I love things of quality, things with soul and personality, things with a story to tell. I try and find stories behind my pieces where I can and I love to imagine the life these things once had and who they belonged to. It is a fascinating world. I love this world.

I am always searching for something new and better than the last thing. I love antiques, vintage items, interesting supplies and anything someone hand made. I make my prices fair so that you too can have joy from these finds. I love to think that these pieces were once much loved and I would like them to be loved again. Some of the items I find have so much work and care invested in them, it makes me sad if someone discards them so I like to rescue them and find them a new home where they will be cherished once more.

I love to chat so I am always available if you have any questions at all. Please do contact me, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for reading.

All the best, xxx from Madrid

Here are my other shops on Etsy:" ~Miki

"I have always loved to "dress up". Some of my earliest memories were of my mom and my aunts, wearing hats and gloves to special occasions. My aunt and uncle going to Shriners holiday parties and bringing me party favors- tin horns, noise makers, and hats. How I wish that I would have kept these items!!

For years, I have scoured yard sales, thrift stores, and estate sales looking for items to bring me back to those days. I have delighted in every find, always amazed at the things that people decide they no longer need.

It's now time to part with some of my finds. I want the items to go to people who will love and cherish them as I have.

I have instilled a love and an appreciation of everything old in my children. My two daughters will be helping me, answering questions, and giving a creative touch to the site!

Enjoy!!" ~Patricia

We have expanded our Pacific Postcards Team past the confines of Etsy. You can now join in the fun even if you don't have an Etsy account by joining the Pacific Postcards Team on G+ . Another great way to share our passion for postcards. I have not built a button for this yet so here is the link to our new community. If you know anyone that is in love with postcards and ephemera please pass this link onto them. Go to

The only difference in the memberships is that the latter will be included in shop
interviews, BNRs and postcard related activities. We also plan on having activities for
the general memberships. Hope to see you there soon.
Please remember that we have our very own Postcard Forum for any questions about specific postcards, collecting, creating, basically anything and everything about postcards. Finally found a rare card for your collection? Use the forum to show off that new found treasure.
