New Members Of The Pacific Postcards Team - Series 38

A quick note before we get moving with our Meet and Greet.
There is an opportunity for you to link up an item or your blog post that you find inspiring throughout last week. The thought behind my post Sunday was to create something inspiring to get us going for this week. So please stop by and post and/or comment:

I am very happy to introduce the following new members of the Pacific Postcards Team. Welcome!

 Parisian Prairie Charm
Andrea Switzer
"Remember me....I always put an extra free surprise in every package that I mail out. I accept Paypal, credit cards/direct payment and money orders. What I sell will always be vintage or antique!!! I chose Parisian Prairie Charm as my store name, because #1 I live in Paris (Illinois, that is) and #2 Illinois is the Prairie State with lots of fields, wildflowers and country charm. I have a huge interest in home decor. My style is a mixture of vintage, antique, shabby/chippy, country romantic, cottage, Tuscan. A little eclectic thrown in. I want my home and gardens to be a beautiful tapestry for the eyes. My favorite decorators are Rachel Ashwell, Tracy Porter, Fifi O'Neill and Charlotte Moss. I like repurposing, layering, designing vignettes, and shopping.
My parents owned an antique shop and I've liked auctions and tag-sales for most of my life. I'm excited to serve and possibly add some beauty to your home through my Etsy shop.

Living in the Midwest causes the shipping costs to the coasts and far south to be more expensive than when I ship packages to the states around Illinois. If you live within 3 states of Illinois in any direction and wish to purchase something from my shop, please contact me first and I will adjust the shipping rates. It will very possibly be lower than what is stated. I will change the price the day that you contact me and you can purchase the product and save some money. I will also combine items and refigure the cost of the package, so always contact me so that I can try to save you some money." ~Andrea Switzer
Laces, ribbons, silks, all things beautiful!

The Shining Chrysanthemum
"I am a lover of all things Vintage and Japanese! Especially, lovely postcards and photos of Maiko, Geisha, and female Kabuki/Japanese theatre actors! Interestingly, I am almost equally in love with antique French, shabby, ornate, and chippy items! Call me "Memoirs of a Geisha meets Pride and Prejudice" and that is my style!!!!!! Oh! And I love Lucky Cats too! Sadly, I have never had the opportunity to travel to Japan but am dying to go one day!!! Either way, I still love to collect and share neat old goodies from there through my little Etsy shop. "

We have expanded our Pacific Postcards Team past the confines of Etsy. You can now join in the fun even if you don't have an Etsy account by joining the Pacific Postcards Team on G+ . Another great way to share our passion for postcards. I have not built a button for this yet so here is the link to our new community. If you know anyone that is in love with postcards and ephemera please pass this link onto them. Go to

The only difference in the memberships is that the latter will be included in shop
interviews, BNRs and postcard related activities. We also plan on having activities for
the general memberships. Hope to see you there soon.
Please remember that we have our very own Postcard Forum for any questions about specific postcards, collecting, creating, basically anything and everything about postcards. Finally found a rare card for your collection? Use the forum to show off that new found treasure.
