"First a brief little introduction: I grew up a Midwest farm girl from Wisconsin but through a series of moments of self discovery I have since moved to California and live the city life in Palm Springs. I live in a beautiful contemporary home where my husband and I have designed a small but very beautiful Japanese Garden.
Unfortunately, though, the contemporary look does not blend with my passion for vintage and antique Victorian froufrou. So I have created for myself a virtual world with my shops. Frida Kahlo has long been my muse and some of my art is inspired by her colorful life and paintings. I also enjoy dressing up in costume for any occasion but especially for Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos celebrations and of course as Frida.

Welcome to Paper Symphony…everything in my shop is made in my smoke free home in Central California. No two items will be identical; some may be similar but keep in mind that no two are exactly alike as they are individually handmade. I love making paste papers, handmade paper and a variety of other things that use paper, paints and ephemera in old and new ways. My passion is to give new life to some trashed bit of anything. Because I am adventurous and a collector, my studios is overflowing. Etsy provides me an opportunity to show the world what I make and to destash so that you can make things also. I show and sell at boutiques, teach, take classes and attend many workshops. My work has been featured in local juried shows, at the Santa Ana ARTbar, Fresno TWEE and published in Somerset Studio, Gallery and Handcrafted magazines.
