Wait A Minute Mister Postman Postcard Party 43

I thought this post I had found on Facebook this morning would be absolutely perfect for this morning's

Tuesday's Postcard Fun Fact

Did you know there were Street Car Post Offices?

According to Railway Post Office Clerks on FB in the 1890s there were post offices operating from street cars in larger cities such as Boston, New York, Chicago , Washington DC, and others.  As much as love my computers and technology I think that the "modern conveniences" back in the late 1800 - early 1900s were much more convenient than those we have today. If you want to read more about the history of post offices visit their FB Page it is one worth Liking.
