Members Of The Pacific Postcards Team - Series 70

Welcome to the Pacific Postcards Team Meet and Greet.  We have a great team that had start simply as an Etsy Team but has branched out into Artfire, G+FacebookTwitter and Pinterest.  We would love for you to join are team and help promote New Artistically designed or reproduced postcards, collecting vintage and antique postcards, creating digital art, and anything to do with ephemera and vintage imagery.

First I would like to introduce myself, Colleen (Captain) and Frances (Leader) of the team:

"First a brief little introduction: I grew up a Midwest farm girl from Wisconsin but through a series of moments of self discovery I have since moved to California and live the city life in the Palm Springs area.  I live in a lovely contemporary home where my husband and I have designed a small but very beautiful Japanese Garden.

Unfortunately, though, the contemporary look does not blend with my passion for vintage and antique Victorian froufrou.  So I have created for myself a virtual world with my shops.  I welcome you to my attic filled with all the treasures found and creations made especially for you..." ~Colleen Cornelius
"I create mixed media, collage, folk art, religious icons, jewelry with a twist, paintings & digital art. Frida Kahlo has long been my muse and some of my art is inspired by her colorful life and paintings. I also enjoy dressing up in costume for any occasion but especially for Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos celebrations and of course as Frida.

Hunting for treasures at flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops is also a favorite past time and I often incorporate these objects into my art..." ~Frances Perea

"I have been an artisan for most of my adult life. I learned to crochet when I was 6 years old, I was oil painting in my teens and taught myself to tole paint. I have done cross stitch, quilting, knitting, crochet, painting and decoupage. I recently discovered altered art which is a new love of mine! All of these arts are seen in the products that I offer for sale." ~Joapan

"cdavid has been a professional Property Master for Film, TV, and Theatre for over 22 years and in the Entertainment Industry for 25 years.

He is a found object sculptor, creating new works from the discards of others as well as natural objects.  cdavid is a member of the Philly Dumpster Divers (a social organization of found object artists).

Currently, cdavid has a pieceof his art featured in the exhibit ARCHIVES ALCHEMY; The Art of The Philly Dumpster Divers on display at the National Archives in Philadelphia thru July, 2014.

In collaboration with the Dumpster Divers, cdavid founded the Please Take M.E. (Materials Exchange): a place where artists and others could bring unwanted items and exchange them for credits to buy other people's items.

Throughout his careers in Art & Entertainment, cdavid has managed to gather a large collection of ephemera (papers, postcards, photos, advertising, letters), as well as old books, & other vintage and antique objects. Some are a part of his permanent collection and are used in his work in film/TV as props for actors.

Those other treasures cdavid has found are now being made available to you for sale here. Please enjoy the tour and if you are in need of something special you are not seeing just ask and it will be found or made for you." ~ CDavid

"The Material Whirl project got its start several years ago, when I began following the one-per-day websites of various artists. Since the beginning of 2010, I have made several hundred postcard-sized collages (though far from one per day), all from various types of recycled paper and cardboard, and have been listing them, one by one, here on Etsy.

View the complete collection in chronological order on my blog at, and follow me as @matthew951 on Twitter and Pinterest for regular updates whenever new ones are added. You can also find me here on Etsy as one of the Leaders of the FSB (First Sales Boost) team, an active participant in the Central Florida Etsians team, Altered Art, Collage, Mixed Media and Life team, and many others.

Dive in and enjoy!" ~Matthew Hoffman
