Tuesday's Postcard Fun Fact:
In the 1870s congress approved government production of postcards, these cards were the only ones that could don the label Postal Card. While private mailing cards will still allowed through the postal system they would cost double the government Postal Cards (2 cents instead of 1 cent.)
I have a private mailing card in my collection but alas I haven't a good example of a Postal Card, so this one if from shop, ElephantEyeEphemera
