Family life in the Roaring Twenties changed dramatically.  It was the first time in history that modern technology made it easy for a middle class family to purchase luxury items such as radios and electric refrigerators.  Clothing became an item that was mass produced, lowering the cost, so now the average house wife could purchase stylish clothing and dress their children in the latest trend.

Cars became more affordable so that this became a part of the average families lifestyle by the end of the 1920s.

What a wonderful collection to remind us of how far we have come in such a short time. Thank you so much for including my vintage postcard of a man, his car and his family. Love all of your selections!
