Members Of The Pacific Postcards Team - Series 81

Welcome to the Pacific Postcards Team Meet and Greet.  We have a great team that had start simply as an Etsy Team but has branched out into Artfire, G+FacebookTwitter and Pinterest.  We would love for you to join are team and help promote New Artistically designed or reproduced postcards, collecting vintage and antique postcards, creating digital art, and anything to do with ephemera and vintage imagery.

First I would like to introduce myself, Colleen (Captain) and Frances (Leader) of the team:

"First a brief little introduction: I grew up a Midwest farm girl from Wisconsin but through a series of moments of self discovery I have since moved to California and live the city life in the Palm Springs area.  I live in a lovely contemporary home where my husband and I have designed a small but very beautiful Japanese Garden.

Unfortunately, though, the contemporary look does not blend with my passion for vintage and antique Victorian froufrou.  So I have created for myself a virtual world with my shops.  I welcome you to my attic filled with all the treasures found and creations made especially for you..." ~Colleen Cornelius

"I create mixed media, collage, folk art, religious icons, jewelry with a twist, paintings & digital art. Frida Kahlo has long been my muse and some of my art is inspired by her colorful life and paintings. I also enjoy dressing up in costume for any occasion but especially for Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos celebrations and of course as Frida.

Hunting for treasures at flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops is also a favorite past time and I often incorporate these objects into my art..." ~Frances Perea

"Hi there, we are Susan and Joe and we would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We started out on Etsy last year with SandJcraftsandthings, where we sell handmade crafts and vintage sports memorabilia. Recently we decided to create this shop that is focused on photo images. Here you will see items that are created exclusively from photos that we have both shot at various locations. These photos have many themes or topics ranging from nature, animals, objects of interest or people and architecture. We have searched through many of our photos that we would love to share with you. We hope you will enjoy what you see. We take great pride in creating items that you will enjoy for many years to come. It will be our utmost pleasure to serve you.

"I am a Ceramicist and I work mainly in stoneware clay, glazing in funky colours. Most of my pieces have a British feel to them. I have two children with Cystic Fibrosis, so I make things around looking after them. I will make anything to include your ideas so just convo me :)" ~Aquila

"Thank you for checking out my shop ArtfulKitsch. After being away from Etsy for a while, I'm excited to be getting back to what I love most. My modest studio is in my home in central Maine, where I enjoy creating unique and unusual art and assemblage using repurposed items. I love searching for vintage and retro treasures and ephemera to use in making collage and mixed media pieces and my own brand of original paper products. My shop is a work in progress and I will be adding new items as I create them. I hope you enjoy browsing my shop and will stop by often." ~Cindy

"Bonjour!

Since I was a young fille and growing up in a creative family, I have been a visual artist. I gloried in painting, drawing and humanities at University. Previously I have really enjoyed working in an art gallery and art teaching in elementary and junior high schools-now I run this belle boutique, teach private art lessons, dabble in metalsmithing, and work in an art supply store.

My shop began when I found myself living in a foreign country and in what seemed like a different world: Québec, Canada, hence the français in my boutique. Not to mention "Nicole" is a French name! Now I'm pleased to be back in the good ol' USA.

I love the fine arts (especially painting), music, literature, history, great architecture, scrapbooking, going running, old friends, watching movies, French pastries, peonies & poppies, shopping (Etsy, of course), and COUTURE!

Merci beaucoup for stopping by!

➳➳➳From time to time, my artist husband may contribute to my boutique. I am also on Etsy under the username "negunn". ~Nicole
