Why is Blogger making something simple so difficult?

I was so excited to see that Google had a way to purchase a domain name and just with one click you could link it up to your existing blog, until....
the error!

When clicking on my old blogspot link my readers would get an error message that said they were being redirected to a page that could possibly have spam do they want to continue yes/no?  Really Google it is your domain, it is your blog hosting app and yet you're implying that it may a viral site?

Not to mention that my GFC is no longer functioning.

So since everything I have tried so far has been an epic fail I have reverted back to my original .blogspot URL which resolved the issue with redirection BUT my GFC app is still not working.

I want to use the domain I paid for so I tried to reconnect it but can't and just get a "conflict" error message.

Guess how I will be spending my weekend?

Anyone knows how to fix this I would love it if you would share in the comments

Pray for me :'(

I've noticed lately that GFC was acting up also - I wonder what's going on. I wish I had answers for your problem but I know that I've tried to update my information for my Google domain name & I can't even get into the "dashboard" to complete my updates. So frustrating - I hope that you are able to fix your problem quickly
