"First a brief little introduction: I grew up a Midwest farm girl from Wisconsin but through a series of moments of self discovery I have since moved to California and live the city life in the Palm Springs area. I live in a lovely contemporary home where my husband and I have designed a small but very beautiful Japanese Garden.
Unfortunately, though, the contemporary look does not blend with my passion for vintage and antique Victorian froufrou. So I have created for myself a virtual world with my shops. I welcome you to my attic filled with all the treasures found and creations made especially for you..." ~Colleen Cornelius

Hunting for treasures at flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops is also a favorite past time and I often incorporate these objects into my art..." ~Frances Perea

Vintage "Good Ole Days" Post Card...unknown age |
"I"m a disabled mother of 1 who now is in his 2nd year of college. I've been designing jewelry and many other things since I was 5, but just started full time 5 years since I became bedridden & had to give up my daytime business.
I spend anywhere from 12 to 18 hours a day making something keeping my hands & brain occupied & also help supplement our family with money. BUT the true reason I do it is because I LOVE IT!
I hope as the months go by & I start to get some of the 5000 items I've made ( and keep making more EVERYDAY!) online you'll find something truly unique. AND what makes my items unique is that I make ONE OF A KIND items... there maybe multiple of the same style BUT no 2 are exactly alike!!!!
In 2008 I entered my first bead designing contest @ Fire Mountain Gems & I actually took 3rd place BRONZE Prize for my Patchwork Purse! So I have entered the 2010 for Swavorski design & will be entering the 2011 small bead design...I'll keep you updated.
To see Patchwork Purse just look under Purses, I also have several others for you to choose from.
I look forward to your comments & even your ideas & suggestions, and just know friends call me TERI......
P.S. ALL Jewelry pieces come in a brocade pouch or a box.
UPDATE: I won "Finalist" status In the Fire Mountain Beads & Gems 2010 Swarvoski Contest!
A Little MORE about me, In 1979 @ the age of 16 I flew from a carnival ride in Alaska and was left a paraplegic By 1982 I was diagnosed with Ostiomelitis, and had both legs amputated. Now,30 plus years later I am on strict bed "rest" the more activity I do the faster the disease will spread up my spine. So to keep me going I create.
My girl friend Jannette (she's in my circle) she & I do our crafts together & once in awhile she does bazaars & other things for us. She also is my friend & sometimes caregiver when the men go on their hunting trips.
Even though I'm bedridden I still have a LOT to give & say ,like don't feel sorry for me instead use me as an example of how YOU can handle your own trials & tribulations! KEEP your SPIRITS HIGH & remember if you don't love & care about YOURSELF nobody's going to do it for YOU.BUT also remember....PRIDE is good to have BUT not when it KEEPS you from asking for HELP, asking for help is APART of LOVING YOURSELF. That's all for NOW," ~ Teri
