I have always loved the beautiful and amazingly delicate flowers of the cactus.  They are brilliantly colored and have a cray-paper thin petal.  My passion for these unusual flowers started in the Midwest where I discovered that Wisconsin actual has a small desert that is home to a native Prickly Pear (which is an endangered plant.)

This amazing little desert is located north of Spring Green and is home to many more cacti and lizards.  Yes I said lizards living wild in Wisconsin!  For more information you can check it out at http://www.nature.org.
