Spring Blossoms On #Handmade Sunday

Growing up in the Midwest the winter would be soooo long.  But come April I would see a little specks of blue under the crusted snow.  A few days later a very persistent Grape Hyacinth would push itself through the hardpack to welcome in the warm spring sun.  Soon after that my Grandmother's Daffodils, Irises, Tulips, Lily Of The Valley, and Snow Drops would follow (not in that order of course.)

While I completely dislike freezing cold and love living in Cali I certainly miss those magical moments of my youth.  And when I see these lovely images it reminds me of my Grandmother and her amazing green thumb that would get me through those cold Wisconsin Winters.

A friend of mine, Shadow Dog Design, created a wonderful blog with many of our lovely Handmade Floral treasures and it has inspired me.  You can find her lovely blog post by Clicking Here . With Mother's Day right around the corner let the beauty of this collection lift your spirits and help you find that perfect gift for mom.

Thank you Colleen! Thank you for including my Floral Lampwork Bracelet among your beautiful Spring Blossom items.

In NY our first sign of Spring are the little crocuses peeking their heads above the snow!!!

Thank you so much for including my flower chain necklace. I grew up in IL too, so I remember the lovely Lily of the Valley, tulips and other bulbs coming up in my Great-Grandmother's garden. Have shared everyone everywhere.
