2020 Springtime Favorites

A collection of a few favorites celebrating spring and rebirth in nature.  I love this time of year,  winter is loosening his tight grip over the land and there is a sweet scent of hope in the air.

Fall Flowers - Mums

My favorite fall flowers are mums; I love marigolds but they stink so that is why the mum gets 1^st place.   Mums grow in Cali almost all year long but I think of them still as an autumn flower since fall is when they just take off in the Midwest.  You will see multi colored pompoms filling the landscape some the size of bushes.  They have so many lovely fall colors to choose from that you can easily fit them to any color scheme you desire.  My favorite was always the beautiful browns and deep reds.

Since Mums are so hardy they make great indoor arrangements and wreathes.  Fortunately they also make some very realistic looking artificial Mums that can be turned into many beautiful fall decorations, here are a few that I found on Etsy:
