Goodbye 2015 and A Happy New Year

I have to admit that this year I am kind of glad to say goodbye to 2015.  It was a very stressful and trying year.  We finished it off 2015 with my daughter in the hospital for double pneumonia on Christmas Eve and being stranded in Chicago, thanks to American Airlines, through New Years. But! and a big But! I am optimist and I'm predicting that 2016 is going to be the year that turns it all around.

I am so glad to be back in sunny California in 2016, my family health is being restored and things are already starting to change for the good.  Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

On a more positive note for my Christmas Vacation, I was able to go to continue with our tradition of riding the train into Chicago and walking the Magnificent Mile and finally to Macy's beautiful windows.

I was also able to get to the original Billy Goats (for those of you too young, it is an old tavern making its mark when it was featured in a skit on SNL with John Belushi)  Check another site off my list of places seen on TV (or Movie)

Counting Down with Frosty The Snowman & Friends

Some of my Favorite Holiday Memories were when CBS would broadcast their holiday cartoon specials.  I grewup in a time where kid's shows were only on a couple of hours on Saturday mornings and during the holidays.  It made it so much more exciting to have to wait to see these classics.  They still make me feel like a kid again every time I watch them.  I hope you enjoy:)
