Home Sweet Home...Central CA We Have Survived and Arrived!!

So we spent last Friday morning finishing packing up and headed out the door.  I was pretty confident that "I Got This" when we pulled away with our 26 foot long U haul...but after we added an additional trailer I started to wonder...
I was OK with this (drove a truck before)

Drove with a trailer before (OK)

<><>
But never drove both together before.....Yikes!!!  7 parking spaces long and have to go down a mountain
So Thank the Lord my husband, Terry, decided to take on the challenge.  And for any of his family and friends that would never believe he would drive a 26' Uhaul and trailer down a mountain...He did and did it well (Since I'm typing you know I made it alive)

So Goodbye Mountain...
Going....

Going....

Going....

1 Gone .... A few more mountains to go...

Goodbye
Terry also drove through Sacramento like a pro.  I am so proud:)
We had to stop in Ripon Cal and took a short pit stop; it was wonderful to see the palms again and feel the warm air.

Very nice place, great staff and reasonable rates:)

We hit the road again early Saturday morning, my turn to drive but we made it to Fresno in one piece.

We have landed and are very happy to be back; now we just need to unpack and set up again.  What an adventure:)  One that I hope to never have to do again.

I can't wait to visit Yosemite again...

I'm Exhausted and It's Only Tuesday - I'm In Need Of A Home Spa

So...I realize that it is only Tuesday but for some reason or another I am exhausted.  I can't drink enough coffee or smell enough peppermint to get myself going.  Along with those symptoms, I have a writer's block of sorts so I apologize in advance.

I am dreaming of getting a spa treatment on a Caribbean Island but the reality is that I am freezing my tuchus off on a mountain.  So...what's the next best thing?  A home spa!   My treasury and featured shop include those home spa necessities.  I hope you can treat yourself to some of these yummy delights.
To start off my fantasy spa...Hana sent me a wonderful sample of her Detox Foot Scrub and Hydrating 101 Body Butter.  I really enjoyed the foot scrub but I especially loved the Body Butter.  It is thick, very creamy and absorbs right away leaving your skin feeling immediately softer.  Love it!!!  So, thank you Hana Essentials at  http://www.etsy.com/shop/hanaessentials?ref=pr_shop

Wonderful scent at Hana Essentials

Love how my skin felt after using this product A++ at Hana Essentials

Maybe this is what I need to wake up today found at Hana Essentials

Now to complete my fantasy home spa...My Treasury

If you are on a budget; fear not.  Here is a treasury full of spa-bath & beauty samples all $2.00 and under + Shipping. Treat yourself or treat a friend or maybe both!

Exotic vacations have lured people for years.  The advertisings were enticing and the photographs irresistible both then and still are now.  Let’s take a trip not just back in time, but back in time to the tropics...

Saturday Treasury - Supplies for the Artist

Every artist has a need for supplies, so I decided to create a treasury featuring supplies from beachcombing.  Again I am trying to capture the spring and summer and bring it to me.  These lovely items would be wonderful for the jewelry maker and many other crafters.  Please note the beautiful and whimsical picture of the little beachcomber.  I hope you have a sunny day.
