Labor Day Picnics and Family Reunions

Labor Day always conjures images of end of summer picnics and family reunions.  During my childhood the school year started around August 20th something; we would spend 4 - 5 days in our first days of the school year and bam! a 3 day weekend holiday.  I always thought it odd to just get started and then be off but thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. 

Many of us will be going to great family gatherings; filled with laughing childrens, family games, and food.  Often these gatherings are held outside, due to the numbers that join us and it is just simply fun to be outside celebrating the last of the summer days.
