Wait A Minute Mister Postman Postcard Party 39

I have loved postcards since I was a child and as I grew so did my collection.  As I got older I realized that some of the vintage and antique postcards had more value.  When I excitedly told my mother about it I can remember her telling me that I shouldn't get too excited because they would never be worth that much.  I was crushed because even at a young age I dreamed of being the Postcard Lady and selling my cards and sharing my love.  But just like many things, time has changed how people look at these little treasures and they can become a business.

Maybe someday I will truly become the Postcard Lady.  Here are some of my creations that I hope some day become a collectible treasure:

Dear Colleen,
I love the postcards you have made and hope you can become The Postcard Lady soon! I too am amazed that the sweet little picture postcards that my grandmother, great-grandmother, great-aunt and mother collected have become such collectible items! But, clearly, the feelings that were evoked by these images endure through time and they still make people happy to look at them!

Thank you for including my digital collage from my blog this week! Victorienne is very happy to be here at The Postcard Party!

Wishing you a most lovely day!

Betty
