My Daughter Is Crazy For Horses; Upcycled Gifts

My daughter celebrated her birthday yesterday.  Every time it is one of my children's birthdays I go back through the wonderful years and think of all the memories we made.  I think about what their favorite foods were, sports, activities and how much they changed over the years.  One thing that has never changed with my daughter is her love for horses.  She has been in Horse Sense for 16 years now and is still just as passionate about riding as the first day.

Summer Picnics; Upcycled

Crazy Cat Lady Goes Green

Just love this combination since I am, by heart, a Crazy Cat Lady!  The only thing is ...  I have a pet free home but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have 40 cats if I could pull it off :)  Once my husband gets older I will start smuggling them in; if he asks I will just tell him he was watching a show about cats and he is confused. Upcycled Treasures In The Colors Of Froot Loops

Growing up we were provided a healthy and almost completely organic diet.  Which means of course that all I wanted was Mac and Cheese and Froot Loops.  Once in a great while, during the summer, I was able to pick out a cereal that I wanted and that wasn't filled with nuts and straw.   I almost always picked Froot Loops; their bright cheerful color and fruity smell always promised me all kinds of fun.   But I have to admit they do look and smell better than they actually taste. 

I still think it is a fun cereal although not exactly something I would let my kids (or future Grandkids) load up on either but how could anyone resist their eye-popping rainbow of colors?
