Upcycled Treasures In The Colors Of Froot Loops

Growing up we were provided a healthy and almost completely organic diet.  Which means of course that all I wanted was Mac and Cheese and Froot Loops.  Once in a great while, during the summer, I was able to pick out a cereal that I wanted and that wasn't filled with nuts and straw.   I almost always picked Froot Loops; their bright cheerful color and fruity smell always promised me all kinds of fun.   But I have to admit they do look and smell better than they actually taste. 

I still think it is a fun cereal although not exactly something I would let my kids (or future Grandkids) load up on either but how could anyone resist their eye-popping rainbow of colors?

Red Hot in the Winter Cold

The right contrasting colors can just be amazing!!!  I hate being cold but I love the look of ice.  I have always been drawn to the heat so of coarse red is one of my favorite colors.   The items in this treasury would just set the place on fire if it was for the ice.  How fun!
