Upcycled and Recycled on Etsy - The love of Ephemera

I absolutely adore ephemera and often I have seen books, magazines, etc. that are too damaged to salvage or simply outdated.  While collecting old books can be a great hobby most people would find a common entire copy of the Encyclopedia Britannica from 1950 to be cumbersome and not very valuable.  It may be in great shape but since it was common it really has no value.  So what better way to keep this lovely treasure alive than to upcycle it? 

On the same note I love to upcycle children's books.  Those lovely images dancing colorfully across the page but once you little one decides to scribble over several pages the book loses its luster.  So here are some great Etsy finds salvaging those beautiful words and pages:
