Tuesday's Postcard Fun Fact:
Because postcards where an inexpensive method of sending a holiday greeting, Halloween Postcards reached a peak during the early 1900's. Although these cards were popular, they are rare and difficult to find making them highly collectible and valuable. Depending on the condition Antique and Vintage Halloween Postcards can fetch between $20 up to $600 a card. To identify early Edwardian period card look at the spelling of Halloween; during this period it was spelled "Hallow'een."I am in the mood for some Halloween Tradition so it was a bit easier to pick my favorite this week. But we certainly have a fine collection of cards displayed last week. I can't wait to see what this week brings.
My pick this week is from KrisGoesPicken

Dear Colleen,
I am reluctantly letting go of summer (I suppose I have no choice!). However, I love Halloween so much that it makes even fall welcome to me! Thank you for showing these fun vintage Halloween cards today!!!
Wishing you a good week ahead,
