Pinterest. We would love for you to join are team and help promote New Artistically designed or reproduced postcards, collecting vintage and antique postcards, creating digital art, and anything to do with ephemera and vintage imagery.
First I would like to introduce myself, Colleen (Captain) and Frances (Leader) of the team:
"First a brief little introduction: I grew up a Midwest farm girl from Wisconsin but through a series of moments of self discovery I have since moved to California and live the city life in the Palm Springs area. I live in a lovely contemporary home where my husband and I have designed a small but very beautiful Japanese Garden.
Unfortunately, though, the contemporary look does not blend with my passion for vintage and antique Victorian froufrou. So I have created for myself a virtual world with my shops. I welcome you to my attic filled with all the treasures found and creations made especially for you..." ~Colleen Cornelius
"I create mixed media, collage, folk art, religious icons, jewelry with a twist, paintings & digital art. Frida Kahlo has long been my muse and some of my art is inspired by her colorful life and paintings. I also enjoy dressing up in costume for any occasion but especially for Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos celebrations and of course as Frida.
Hunting for treasures at flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops is also a favorite past time and I often incorporate these objects into my art..." ~Frances Perea

"Without describing my heritage, I cannot tell you anything about myself. Art and antiques were in the blood of my family. I grew up in the art studios of my grandmother and my mother as they created and taught their skill. Weekends always found us somewhere at a side-walk sale, or an art gallery where their work was displayed. It wasn’t until I picked up a brush and began putting paint to paper that I truly understood the love they had for creating art and passing it on. Love of antiques was just a natural by-product of the appreciation of beauty in all its forms.
Fowler Art Studios was not created to display only my art and vintage, but to showcase the magnificent creative talent of my husband, Will Fowler. When Will retired some years ago, and even before I was able to, he was carving, building furniture, refinishing antiques. He works with Colorado cottonwood bark, black walnut, wormy butternut, sage and aspen.
So, with that, I am hoping that you find your “find” in our shop. Tell your friends and family where we are. We are truly hoping that you will enjoy your visit and return time and time again.

"I received a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and my jewelry is inspired by my work at printmaking studios in New York City and in Washington, DC. At the same time, I am a competitive ballroom dancer. I am absolutely crazy about ballroom dancing and everything about it: costumes, shoes, jewelry, etc. I make jewelry for competitions and performances, using only Swarovski rhinestones because of their superior quality and unmatched radiance.
However, after a while I asked myself: why sparkle only on a dance floor? Why not bring some luxury Swarovski shine to work, to school, or even grocery shopping? With a penchant for contrasting colors and dramatic shapes, I created some jewelry inspired by ballroom dancing, but more appropriate for every day wear." ~ Elena
