Wait A Minute Mister Postman Postcard Party 35

I love some the strange subjects that people chose to make into postcards.  While they seem odd subjects now it makes sense when you put into the context that there was no TV and for some time no radio to communicate to the public.  These postcards documented disasters and sensational moments in time.

I agree, Colleen! Some of the topics of postcards have made me wonder at times too! But that's part of what makes them interesting to me: they cover such a wide range of topics and I'm sure there was something to appeal to everyone!

Thank you, once again, for hosting this fun postcard party each week!
